INTELLECTUAL/DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES SERVICES
PBMHR offers the following developmental services
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources offers Day Services, Prevocational Services, Supervised Living and Supported Employment programs to individuals with an intellectual and/or developmental disability.
Services are available for adults ages 18 and older. Each person has an individual service plan developed especially for them that addresses the individual wants, needs, desires, and goals of that person and their family. All Services strive to assist each person with attaining maximum participation and achievement both at home and in the community. Socialization and community integration are key components of each day.
Through Supervised Living, residents are given the opportunity to begin living in a manner that is fully customized to their preferences and offers opportunities for growth. Residents are helped to care for themselves and be part of their communities.
We also offer a Supported Employment option for individuals who want to work. Supported Employment is a well-defined approach to helping people with varying levels of disabilities participate in the labor market, helping them find fulfilling jobs and providing ongoing support necessary to be successful and maintain their jobs
